Parkson VP, VB, VF, VH & BM series of double column, CNC vertical machining centres

These exciting twin column vertical machining centres are of a heavy duty, all cast iron construction and feature fixed columns and *crossrail for maximum rigidity. The compact spindle assembly is mounted centrally within the counterbalanced headstock and traverses along the crossrail (Y axis) and vertically (Z axis) with the table travelling on a fixed bed longitudinally (X axis)

This method of construction offers not only a stiff, rigid machining envelope but greater thermal stability.

* The larger capacity BM range offers the option of a rise and fall rail (W axis)

All slideways are square (box) in section, integral with its respective casting and are induction hardened and ground for greater stability and metal removal rates.

The comprehensive range of models offer axis travels from 900mm (35½”) to 10,000mm (393⅞”) in the X axis, 610mm (24”) to 3500mm (137¾”) in Y and 610mm (24”) to 1020mm (40⅛”) in the Z. The BM models also offering an additional 1000mm (39⅜”) in the W axis. Higher columns are also available on selected models.

All machines are fitted with a 32 station ATC as standard with larger options available.
