Yorky type “O” manual & CNC Oilfield grinders
This innovative, universal oil tool grinding machine was designed and developed specifically for grinding all types of stabiliser and drill pipe, drill heads, hydroclean bars, fishing tools, mills, reamers and the day to day requirements of oil industry original equipment manufacturers and the needs of regrind and repair shops and available in manual, semi-automatic and full CNC guise.
It is of a heavy duty, rugged construction weighing in at 27,500 pounds (12,500kg) with a work piece capacity of 11,000 pounds (5000kg). Maximum swing is 44” (1118mm) with 120” (3048mm) between centres. The precision workhead has a thru’ bore of 12.2” (310mm) to enable components to pass through with a front mounted chuck and rear support.
The machine features a fixed table and moving wheelhead enabling long components to remain stationary in the X axis whilst being ground.
Maximum capacities include 40ft (12 metre) drill pipe with stabilisers up to 42” (1066mm) in diameter by 12ft (3657mm) long
